>>602742398It's a good game. High fantasy which calls back to D&D influence, it has a lot of influence from Beserk arugably the greatest manga/ incomplete anime ever written, the story is good but it isn't bloated, the combat is excellent, the monster design is amazing again D&D very influential in this regard with their own designs and flavours. The World atmosphere is *chefs kiss* brilliant, although large parts of it can feel empty due to the game being incomplete, what is there is great. One of the best Dungeon dives in any game including the Dark Souls series, talking about BitterBlack Isle here, many many more reasons, the replayability is a great factor too people tend to overlook, but of course the Pawn system is really unique especially in a single player game, being able to create your own npc companion who you can fully customise including clothing to their skills/ class. In turn other players can hire your pawn and you're rewarded for your pawn being away (they go away while you're offline and come back while you're offline i might be remembering wrong don't quote me) anyway while away your pawn gains experience of fighting whatever monsters and bosses they fought in the other worlds and retains that experience when they come back and fight alongside you making them stronger.
