>>341010669Tiki's not necessary in any of those in the least. In FE1 I just poked Medeus to death in Gradivus, and the most annoying part of dealing with him in FE3 is getting the clerics out of the way so he doesn't eat them, Again giving EVERYONE extra actions and Oum having enough charges to revive them all makes that a bit less annoying there than the Rescue chain that's near necessary in FE12 to prevent casualties.
It's mostly Hard 5 Shadow Dragon that makes having a Divine Dragon suicide into Medeus (which you can revive once to repeat the process in order to finish or nearly finish him off) almost essential to save a lot of headaches, because those morons didn't really account for him being able to double Marth to death there despite having capped speed(NM rectifies that with the cap breaking bonuses on the Binding Shield, and you can even stack those with some single map stat boosts that can't if you're a slight bit under the max). Forged weapons can also help to wear him down or finish him off on the DS titles, some crazy people use a max mt Thoron or Levin Sword off of rigged crits or Triangle Attacks(though I remember FE1 placing him somewhere you can't TA him so Shadow Dragon may have followed suit).
FE12 does NOT give you a backup Falchion by the way, so if you miss out on Starlight there to nab it from Gharnef, Lunatic Medeus is probably gonna be a bloodbath, max mt forged res targeting weapons are really the only thing that comes close in damage to Falchion on him and he doubles magic users to death if they don't evade. FE3 Book 2 only has one difficulty and crazier tools so it's probably easier to find a reliable alternative solution there. Book 1 is a gutted FE1 in terms of maps, so most of the same crap that works in FE1 should work there, outside of not having Gradivus as an option for your cavarly/fliers due to dismounting(but being able to make use of Mercurius instead, which was previously a prf weapon for Marth).
